Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 4 lbs beef bones
  • 1 onion, quartered
  • 2 carrots, chopped
  • 2 stalks celery, chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, smashed
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 tablespoon peppercorns
  • Water enough to cover ingredients

Instructions: 

  • Place all ingredients in the Instant Pot.
  • Fill with water until ingredients are covered.
  • Close the lid and set to high pressure for 120 minutes.
  • Allow natural pressure release for 20 minutes.
  • Strain the broth and discard solids.
  • Use immediately or store in the fridge or freezer.

Notes:

This broth can be used as a base for soups, stews, or enjoyed on its own. Store in the refrigerator for up to 5 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
