Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 2 acorn squash halved and seeds removed
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Salt to taste

Instructions: 

  • Place the trivet in the Instant Pot and add 1 cup of water.
  • Arrange the acorn squash halves on the trivet.
  • Place 1 tablespoon of butter in each squash half.
  • Sprinkle brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt over the squash.
  • Close the Instant Pot lid, set the valve to sealing, and cook on high pressure for 15 minutes.
  • Quick release the pressure and carefully remove the squash from the Instant Pot.
  • Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes:

For a different flavor, try adding a pinch of nutmeg or a drizzle of maple syrup.
