  • 1 cup dried beans
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 bay leaf

Instructions: 

  • Rinse the dried beans under cold water.
  • Place the beans in the Instant Pot with water, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and bay leaf.
  • Close the lid and set the Instant Pot to high pressure for 30 minutes.
  • Allow natural pressure release for 15 minutes, then do a quick release.
  • Remove the bay leaf and serve the beans hot.
