Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup white rice
  • 1.5 cups chicken broth
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions: 

  • Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
  • Place the rice in the Instant Pot and add the chicken broth.
  • Season the chicken breasts with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Place the seasoned chicken breasts on top of the rice.
  • Close the Instant Pot lid and set the valve to sealing.
  • Cook on high pressure for 10 minutes.
  • Allow for a natural pressure release for 10 minutes, then do a quick pressure release.
  • Remove the chicken and shred it with two forks.
  • Fluff the rice with a fork and serve with the shredded chicken on top.
  • Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes:

For extra flavor, you can add a splash of lemon juice or a sprinkle of grated Parmesan cheese before serving.
