Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb pork belly sliced
  • 1 cup soy sauce
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar
  • 0.25 cup rice vinegar
  • 0.25 cup water
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 inch ginger grated
  • to taste green onions chopped, for garnish
  • to taste sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions: 

  • In a bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, water, garlic, and ginger.
  • Add pork belly slices to the Instant Pot and pour the sauce over the meat.
  • Close the lid, set the valve to sealing, and cook on high pressure for 45 minutes.
  • Once done, allow for a natural pressure release for 10 minutes before quick releasing the remaining pressure.
  • Remove the pork belly from the Instant Pot and slice or shred as desired.
  • Serve the pork belly with the sauce from the Instant Pot, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds.

Notes:

You can adjust the sweetness and saltiness of the sauce by varying the amount of brown sugar and soy sauce.
