Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/3 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions: 

  • In a bowl, mix together the ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, egg, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Shape into oval patties.
  • Turn on the Instant Pot to sauté mode and heat the olive oil. Brown the patties on both sides, then remove and set aside.
  • Pour beef broth into the Instant Pot and deglaze the bottom of the pot.
  • Return the patties to the Instant Pot. Close the lid and set to high pressure for 10 minutes.
  • Once done, do a quick pressure release. Remove the patties and set aside.
  • Mix cornstarch and water to make a slurry. Stir into the gravy in the Instant Pot and cook on sauté mode until thickened.
  • Serve the Salisbury steak with the gravy, garnished with fresh parsley.

This recipe is perfect for a quick and hearty meal. You can serve it with mashed potatoes or steamed vegetables for a complete dinner.
