Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup dried elderberries
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 cup honey
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated

Instructions: 

  • Rinse the elderberries and place them in the Instant Pot.
  • Add water, honey, cinnamon stick, and grated ginger.
  • Close the Instant Pot lid and set to high pressure for 10 minutes.
  • Allow natural pressure release for 5 minutes, then manually release any remaining pressure.
  • Carefully strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve into a bowl.
  • Use a spoon to press out all the liquid from the berries.
  • Transfer the syrup to a glass jar and store in the refrigerator.

Notes:

Store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks. Shake well before use.
