Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 2-3 pounds beef or chicken bones
  • 1 onion, quartered
  • 2 carrots, chopped
  • 2 celery stalks, chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, smashed
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • sufficient Water to fill the pot to the max fill line

Instructions: 

  • Place all ingredients in the Instant Pot.
  • Fill the pot with water until it reaches the max fill line.
  • Close the lid and set the Instant Pot to high pressure for 120 minutes.
  • Once done, allow natural pressure release for 20 minutes, then manually release any remaining pressure.
  • Strain the broth and discard the solids.
  • Let the broth cool before storing in containers.

Notes:

This bone broth can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 5 days or frozen for up to 3 months. Use it as a base for soups, stews, or just sip it warm for a nutritious boost.
