Salt and pepper
Instructions:
Season the venison roast with salt and pepper.
Set the Instant Pot to sauté mode and brown the roast on all sides.
Add the chopped onion, garlic, thyme, and rosemary to the Instant Pot.
Pour in the beef broth.
Close the lid, set the Instant Pot to high pressure for 60 minutes.
Once done, allow for natural pressure release for 10 minutes before quick releasing the remaining pressure.
Remove the roast from the Instant Pot and let it rest before slicing.
Serve the venison roast with the cooked onions and garlic as a gravy.
Notes:
For a richer flavor, you can add a splash of red wine to the beef broth.
