Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb flank steak sliced thinly
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger grated
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 4 cups broccoli florets
  • Cooked rice for serving

Instructions: 

  • In a bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and beef broth.
  • Add sliced flank steak to the Instant Pot and pour the sauce over it.
  • Close the lid and cook on high pressure for 10 minutes. Quick release the pressure.
  • In a small bowl, mix cornstarch with water to create a slurry. Stir into the beef mixture in the Instant Pot.
  • Add broccoli florets to the Instant Pot and cook on sauté mode for a few minutes until the sauce thickens and the broccoli is tender.
  • Serve the beef and broccoli over cooked rice.

Notes:

You can substitute flank steak with sirloin or any other tender cut of beef. Adjust the amount of brown sugar to taste if you prefer a less sweet sauce.
