Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1.5 pounds ground beef
  • 0.5 cup breadcrumbs
  • 0.25 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 0.25 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 0.5 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions: 

  • In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, marinara sauce, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  • Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it on a piece of aluminum foil.
  • Create a sling out of aluminum foil to lower the meatloaf into the Instant Pot.
  • Pour 1 cup of water into the Instant Pot and place the trivet inside.
  • Carefully lower the meatloaf onto the trivet.
  • Close the lid, set the valve to sealing, and cook on high pressure for 25 minutes.
  • Allow for a natural pressure release for 10 minutes before quick releasing the remaining pressure.
  • Carefully remove the meatloaf from the Instant Pot using the sling.
  • Let it rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes:

For a crispier texture, you can broil the meatloaf in the oven for a few minutes after cooking in the Instant Pot.
