Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 carrots, diced
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 cups mashed potatoes
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions: 

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a skillet, brown the ground beef with the onion and garlic until cooked through.
  • Add carrots, peas, beef broth, tomato paste, and Worcestershire sauce. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  • Season with salt and pepper.
  • Transfer the meat mixture to a baking dish.
  • Spread mashed potatoes over the top.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes until the top is golden brown.

Notes:

For a twist, you can add some grated cheese on top of the mashed potatoes before baking.
