Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 8 pieces breakfast sausages

Instructions: 

  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  • Add buttermilk, egg, and melted butter to the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined.
  • Pour batter into a greased Instant Pot.
  • Place sausages on top of the batter.
  • Close the Instant Pot lid and set to high pressure for 15 minutes.
  • Once done, carefully release the pressure and remove the hotcakes from the Instant Pot.
  • Serve hot with maple syrup or your favorite toppings.
