Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 whole chicken
  • 1 can beer
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper

Instructions: 

  • Season the chicken with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Open the beer can and place it in the center of the Instant Pot.
  • Carefully lower the seasoned chicken onto the beer can, so it stands upright in the Instant Pot.
  • Close the lid of the Instant Pot and set it to high pressure for 30 minutes.
  • Once done, allow for a natural pressure release before carefully removing the chicken from the Instant Pot.
  • Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before carving and serving.

Notes:

For an extra crispy skin, you can place the chicken under the broiler for a few minutes after cooking.
