Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 4 turkey legs
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 4 sandwich buns

Optional Toppings

  • as desired lettuce
  • as desired tomato
  • as desired mayonnaise

Instructions: 

  • Season the turkey legs with salt, pepper, paprika, and dried thyme.
  • Place the onion and garlic in the Instant Pot, then add the seasoned turkey legs on top.
  • Pour the chicken broth over the turkey legs.
  • Close the Instant Pot lid and set to high pressure for 30 minutes.
  • Once done, allow for a natural pressure release for 10 minutes before quick releasing the remaining pressure.
  • Remove the turkey legs from the Instant Pot and shred the meat.
  • Toast the sandwich buns and assemble the hot turkey sandwiches with the shredded turkey and desired toppings.
