Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 4 slices bacon chopped
  • 1 lb brussel sprouts trimmed and halved
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary chopped
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper
  • 0.5 cup chicken broth

Instructions: 

  • In a large skillet, cook the chopped bacon until crispy. Remove bacon from the skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet with the bacon fat, add the brussel sprouts and cook until they start to brown, about 5 minutes.
  • Add the minced garlic and chopped rosemary to the skillet and cook for another 2 minutes.
  • Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Cook until the brussel sprouts are tender, about 10 minutes.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Serve the brussel sprouts topped with the crispy bacon.

Notes:

For an extra touch, you can add a splash of balsamic vinegar at the end for a bit of tanginess.
