Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb kielbasa sliced
  • 1 lb sauerkraut drained
  • 1 onion sliced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tsp caraway seeds
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions: 

  • Set the Instant Pot to sauté mode and brown the kielbasa slices.
  • Add the sliced onion and sauté until softened.
  • Stir in the sauerkraut, caraway seeds, salt, and pepper.
  • Pour in the chicken broth and deglaze the pot.
  • Close the lid, set to high pressure for 5 minutes, then quick release.

Notes:

For a milder flavor, rinse the sauerkraut before adding it to the pot.
