Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 4 pieces steak (your choice of cut)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions: 

  • Season the steak with salt and pepper.
  • Select the sauté function on the pressure cooker and heat the olive oil.
  • Sear the steak on both sides until browned, then remove and set aside.
  • Add the onion and garlic to the pressure cooker and sauté until softened.
  • Pour in the beef broth and deglaze the pot, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom.
  • Return the steak to the pressure cooker.
  • Close the lid and cook on high pressure for 20 minutes.
  • Allow the pressure to release naturally for 10 minutes, then manually release any remaining pressure.
  • Serve the steak with the onion and garlic gravy from the pressure cooker.
