Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 2-3 ripe bananas
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

Instructions: 

  • Mash bananas in a mixing bowl.
  • Add melted butter, sugar, vanilla extract, and egg. Mix well.
  • Add baking soda, salt, and flour. Mix until just combined.
  • Pour the batter into a greased pan that fits in the Instant Pot.
  • Add 1 cup of water to the Instant Pot and place the trivet inside.
  • Carefully lower the pan onto the trivet.
  • Close the Instant Pot lid, set to sealing, and cook on high pressure for 50 minutes.
  • Allow natural pressure release for 10 minutes before quick releasing.
  • Carefully remove the pan from the Instant Pot and let the banana bread cool before slicing.

Notes:

Allowing the natural pressure release for 10 minutes helps the banana bread to set properly.
