Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb pork tenderloin about 1 lb
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup bourbon
  • 1/2 cup apple cider
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 apples peeled and sliced
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon water

Instructions: 

  • Season the pork tenderloin with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  • Select the "Saute" function on the Instant Pot and heat the olive oil. Sear the pork tenderloin on all sides until browned.
  • Add the bourbon, apple cider, brown sugar, and sliced apples to the Instant Pot.
  • Close the lid, set the valve to sealing, and cook on high pressure for 15 minutes.
  • Once done, do a quick pressure release and remove the pork tenderloin from the Instant Pot.
  • In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water to create a slurry. Add the slurry to the liquid in the Instant Pot to thicken the sauce.
  • Slice the pork tenderloin and serve with the apple bourbon sauce.
