Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 4 ripe bananas sliced
  • 4 cups cubed bread
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 pinch salt

Instructions: 

  • In a bowl, whisk together milk, eggs, brown sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  • Add cubed bread and sliced bananas to the mixture, gently fold to combine.
  • Pour the mixture into a greased pan that fits in the Instant Pot.
  • Add 1 cup of water to the Instant Pot, place the trivet inside, and put the pan on top.
  • Close the lid, set to high pressure for 25 minutes, then do a quick release.
  • Carefully remove the pan from the Instant Pot and let it cool slightly before serving.

Notes:

For an extra touch, you can drizzle caramel sauce over the bread pudding before serving.
