Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 8 cups milk Use whole milk for best results
  • 0.5 cup plain yogurt with live active cultures Make sure it has live active cultures

Instructions: 

  • Pour the milk into the crockpot and heat on low for 2.5 hours.
  • Turn off the crockpot and let it cool for 3 hours.
  • Mix the plain yogurt into the milk.
  • Wrap the crockpot in a thick towel and let it sit undisturbed for 4 hours.
  • Refrigerate the yogurt for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes:

For a thicker yogurt, you can strain it using a cheesecloth after refrigeration.
