Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 whole chicken (about 4-5 lbs)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried herbs (such as thyme, rosemary, or oregano)

Instructions: 

  • Preheat the air fryer to 360°F (180°C).
  • Rinse the chicken and pat it dry with paper towels.
  • Rub the chicken with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and dried herbs, making sure to coat it evenly.
  • Place the chicken breast side down in the air fryer basket.
  • Cook the chicken at 360°F (180°C) for 25 minutes.
  • Carefully flip the chicken over and cook for an additional 25 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) in the thickest part of the chicken.
  • Let the chicken rest for 5-10 minutes before carving and serving.

Notes:

Make sure to let the chicken rest before carving to retain its juices.
