Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups Cheddar Cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 2 tbsp All-purpose Flour
  • 2 cups Chicken Broth
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper

Instructions: 

  • Melt the butter in a large pot over medium heat.
  • Add the flour and whisk continuously for about 2 minutes.
  • Gradually whisk in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
  • Add the milk and heavy cream, stirring constantly.
  • Slowly add the shredded cheddar cheese, stirring until melted and smooth.
  • Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  • Serve hot with a ladle.

Notes:

For a thicker soup, add more cheese. For a thinner soup, add more broth.
