Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 large Onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 1 can Chopped Tomatoes (14 oz)
  • 1 can Kidney Beans (14 oz), drained and rinsed
  • 2 tbsp Chili Powder
  • 1 tsp Ground Cumin
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper

Instructions: 

  • Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  • Add the chopped onion and cook until soft, about 5 minutes.
  • Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  • Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up with a wooden spoon.
  • Stir in the chopped tomatoes, kidney beans, chili powder, ground cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  • Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 45 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Serve hot, garnished with your favorite toppings.

Notes:

Feel free to adjust the spices to your taste. Serve with rice, cornbread, or tortilla chips.
