Inside Out Grilled Cheese Sandwich

A twist on the classic grilled cheese with crispy cheese on the outside.

Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 4 slices Bread Preferably thick slices
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese Shredded
  • 2 tablespoons Butter Softened

Instructions: 

  • 1. Butter one side of each bread slice.
  • 2. Heat a skillet over medium heat.
  • 3. Place one slice of bread, buttered side down, in the skillet. Add a generous amount of shredded cheese on top.
  • 4. Place another slice of bread on top, buttered side up. Sprinkle some cheese on the top slice.
  • 5. Cook until the bottom is golden brown, then flip carefully. Cook until the other side is golden and the cheese is crispy.
  • 6. Repeat with the remaining slices of bread and cheese.

Notes:

For extra flavor, try adding some garlic powder or herbs to the butter before spreading it on the bread.
