fettuccine pasta

shrimp, peeled and deveined

butter

heavy cream

grated Parmesan cheese

cloves
garlic, minced

Salt and pepper

tbsp
chopped parsley
for garnish
Instructions:
1. Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
3. Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes. Remove the shrimp and set aside.
4. Pour the heavy cream into the skillet and bring to a simmer. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
5. Return the cooked shrimp to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
6. Add the cooked fettuccine to the skillet and toss to combine with the sauce and shrimp.
7. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
Notes:
For a lighter version, you can use half-and-half instead of heavy cream.
