Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Fresh Tomatoes chopped
  • 1 medium Onion chopped
  • 4 cloves Garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 tsp Dried Basil
  • 1 tsp Dried Oregano
  • 1 tbsp Sugar

Instructions: 

  • Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  • Add chopped onion and cook until translucent.
  • Add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  • Add chopped tomatoes, salt, pepper, basil, oregano, and sugar.
  • Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 45 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Use an immersion blender to blend the sauce to your desired consistency.
  • Serve over cooked spaghetti.

Notes:

For a smoother sauce, peel the tomatoes before chopping.
