Filipino Beef Steak Recipe

Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 500 g Beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup Soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup Calamansi juice (or lemon juice)
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 large Onion, sliced into rings
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper
  • 2 tbsp Cooking oil

Instructions: 

  • 1. Marinate the beef slices in soy sauce, calamansi juice, and garlic for at least 30 minutes.
  • 2. Heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat. Fry the marinated beef slices until browned. Set aside.
  • 3. In the same skillet, sauté the onion rings until they become translucent.
  • 4. Return the beef to the skillet. Add the marinade and black pepper. Simmer for 10-15 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  • 5. Serve hot with steamed rice.

Notes:

For a more authentic taste, use calamansi juice instead of lemon juice.
