Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
In a food processor, combine the onion, garlic, oregano, cumin, salt, and pepper. Process until finely chopped.
Add the ground lamb and ground beef to the food processor. Process until the mixture is well combined and smooth.
Press the meat mixture into a baking dish, forming a loaf shape.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 60 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
Let the meat rest for 10 minutes before slicing thinly.
Notes:
Serve with pita bread, tzatziki sauce, tomatoes, and onions for a complete gyro experience.
