Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 4 cups blackberries fresh or frozen
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice freshly squeezed

Instructions: 

  • 1. In a large pot, combine blackberries, sugar, and lemon juice.
  • 2. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until the mixture thickens, about 30 minutes.
  • 3. Pour the hot jam into sterilized jars, leaving 1/4 inch headspace. Seal immediately.
  • 4. Let jars cool to room temperature before storing in the refrigerator.

Notes:

Store in the refrigerator for up to 3 weeks or process in a water bath for longer storage.
