Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Butter softened
  • 2 1/4 tsp Active Dry Yeast
  • 4 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 2 Eggs beaten

Instructions: 

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
  • Add the softened butter, beaten eggs, and salt to the yeast mixture. Mix well.
  • Gradually add the flour, one cup at a time, until a soft dough forms.
  • Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  • Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  • Punch down the dough and divide it into 12 equal pieces. Shape each piece into a ball and place on a greased baking sheet.
  • Cover and let rise for another 30 minutes.
  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake the rolls for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.

Notes:

These rolls are best served warm with butter.
