Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, Parmesan cheese, garlic, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
Spoon the cheese mixture into the mushroom caps.
Place the stuffed mushrooms on a baking sheet.
Bake for 20 minutes or until the mushrooms are tender and the tops are golden brown.
Garnish with chopped chives before serving.
Notes:
These stuffed mushrooms are best served warm. You can prepare the filling ahead of time and refrigerate until ready to use.
