Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 4 slices Baguette cut into 1/2 inch slices
  • 2 cups Tomatoes diced
  • 1/4 cup Fresh basil chopped
  • 2 tbsp Balsamic vinegar
  • 1 clove Garlic minced
  • 1/4 cup Olive oil
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper

Instructions: 

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Place baguette slices on a baking sheet and brush with olive oil. Bake for 5 minutes or until golden brown.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine tomatoes, basil, balsamic vinegar, garlic, salt, and pepper.
  • Spoon tomato mixture onto the toasted baguette slices. Serve immediately.

Notes:

Best served fresh. You can prepare the tomato mixture ahead of time and refrigerate.
