Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground beef
  • 1 medium Onion, diced
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 can Diced tomatoes (14.5 oz)
  • 1 can Kidney beans (15 oz, drained and rinsed)
  • 1 can Tomato sauce (8 oz)
  • 2 tbsp Chili powder
  • 1 tsp Ground cumin
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper

Instructions: 

  • 1. Set the Instant Pot to sauté mode. Add ground beef and cook until browned.
  • 2. Add diced onion and minced garlic. Cook until onion is translucent.
  • 3. Add diced tomatoes, kidney beans, tomato sauce, chili powder, cumin, salt, and black pepper. Stir well.
  • 4. Close the lid and set the Instant Pot to manual high pressure for 10 minutes.
  • 5. Once the cooking time is complete, allow for a natural pressure release for 10 minutes, then quick release any remaining pressure.
  • 6. Open the lid, stir the chili, and serve hot.

Notes:

Feel free to top with shredded cheese, sour cream, or chopped green onions.
