Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 2 pounds Potatoes peeled and cut into chunks
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1/4 cup Butter melted
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper

Instructions: 

  • 1. Peel and cut potatoes into chunks.
  • 2. Boil potatoes in a pot of salted water until tender, about 20 minutes.
  • 3. Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot.
  • 4. Mash the potatoes with a potato masher.
  • 5. Add milk and melted butter. Stir until smooth.
  • 6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Notes:

For creamier mashed potatoes, use heavy cream instead of milk.
