Ingredients:  

Slaw

  • 4 cups shredded cabbage
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 1/2 cup sliced green onions

Dressing

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 1 clove garlic, minced

Instructions: 

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded cabbage, shredded carrots, and sliced green onions.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, honey, grated ginger, and minced garlic.
  • Pour the dressing over the slaw mixture and toss to coat evenly.
  • Serve immediately or refrigerate for up to 2 hours to let the flavors meld.

Notes:

For extra crunch, add some toasted sesame seeds or chopped peanuts on top before serving.
