Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 500 g Chicken Breast sliced into strips
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp Oregano dried
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
  • 4 pieces Pita Bread
  • 1 cup Tzatziki Sauce
  • 1 cup Lettuce shredded
  • 1 cup Tomato diced
  • 1 cup Onion sliced

Instructions: 

  • 1. In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, oregano, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Add chicken strips and mix well to coat. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  • 2. Heat a grill pan over medium-high heat. Cook the chicken strips for about 5-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked.
  • 3. Warm the pita bread on the grill pan for about 1 minute on each side.
  • 4. Assemble the gyros by placing chicken strips on the pita bread. Add shredded lettuce, diced tomato, sliced onion, and a generous amount of tzatziki sauce.
  • 5. Fold the pita bread and serve immediately.

Notes:

Feel free to add your favorite toppings like feta cheese or olives.
