Instructions:
1. In a saucepan, combine water, sugar, and instant coffee. Bring to a boil.
2. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
3. Remove from heat and let cool completely.
4. Add vanilla extract and vodka to the cooled mixture. Stir well.
5. Pour into a bottle and seal tightly. Let it sit for at least 2 weeks before using.
Notes:
Homemade Kahlua can be stored for up to a year in a cool, dark place.
