Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 4 cups water
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup instant coffee
  • 2 tablespoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups vodka

Instructions: 

  • 1. In a saucepan, combine water, sugar, and instant coffee. Bring to a boil.
  • 2. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • 3. Remove from heat and let cool completely.
  • 4. Add vanilla extract and vodka to the cooled mixture. Stir well.
  • 5. Pour into a bottle and seal tightly. Let it sit for at least 2 weeks before using.

Notes:

Homemade Kahlua can be stored for up to a year in a cool, dark place.
