Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 4 pieces Chicken Breasts boneless, skinless
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp Chili Powder
  • 1 tsp Cumin
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1 tsp Salt to taste
  • 0.5 tsp Black Pepper to taste
  • 1 cup Salsa
  • 0.5 cup Shredded Cheese Mexican blend

Instructions: 

  • 1. Preheat your skillet over medium heat and add olive oil.
  • 2. Season the chicken breasts with chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  • 3. Cook the chicken in the skillet for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked.
  • 4. Once cooked, remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  • 5. In the same skillet, add the salsa and let it heat through.
  • 6. Return the chicken to the skillet, spooning the salsa over the top.
  • 7. Sprinkle shredded cheese over the chicken and cover the skillet until the cheese melts.
  • 8. Serve hot with your favorite sides.

This dish pairs well with rice, beans, or a fresh salad.
