Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the sugar and eggs until well combined.
Add the milk, vanilla extract, and salt to the mixture and whisk until smooth.
Pour the mixture into the pie crust.
Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the custard is set and a knife inserted into the center comes out clean.
Let the pie cool before serving.
Notes:
For a richer flavor, you can use half-and-half instead of milk.
