Ingredients:

  • 1 unit Pie Crust pre-made or homemade
  • 6 slices Bacon cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup Gruyere Cheese shredded
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • 3 units Eggs large
  • 1 pinch Nutmeg ground
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black Pepper freshly ground

Instructions: 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Place the pie crust in a pie dish and set aside.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
  • Spread the cooked bacon and shredded Gruyere cheese evenly over the pie crust.
  • Pour the egg mixture over the bacon and cheese.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until the quiche is set and the top is golden brown.
  • Let the quiche cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes:

Serve warm or at room temperature. Perfect for brunch or a light dinner.
