Ingredients:

  • 2 cups Sour Cream
  • 1 cup Mayonnaise
  • 2 large Onions finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper freshly ground
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder

Instructions: 

  • Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Add the chopped onions and cook until caramelized, about 20 minutes.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the sour cream, mayonnaise, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  • Once the onions are caramelized, let them cool slightly, then mix them into the sour cream mixture.
  • Chill the dip in the refrigerator for at least an hour before serving.

Notes:

Serve with chips, crackers, or fresh vegetables.
