Ingredients:  

Marinade

  • 500 g Chicken breast cut into strips
  • 2 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Fish sauce
  • 1 tbsp Brown sugar
  • 1 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp Cumin powder
  • 1 tsp Coriander powder
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp Lime juice

Peanut Sauce

  • 1/2 cup Peanut butter
  • 1 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup Coconut milk
  • 1 tbsp Lime juice
  • 1 tsp Chili paste

Instructions: 

  • 1. In a bowl, mix all marinade ingredients. Add chicken strips and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  • 2. Thread marinated chicken onto skewers.
  • 3. Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Grill chicken skewers for 5-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked.
  • 4. While chicken is grilling, mix all peanut sauce ingredients in a bowl until smooth.
  • 5. Serve chicken satay with peanut sauce on the side.

Notes:

Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes before using to prevent burning.
