Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup Brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup Mirin
  • 1 tbsp Honey
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Ginger, grated
  • 1 tbsp Cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water

Instructions: 

  • In a saucepan, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, mirin, honey, garlic, and ginger.
  • Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
  • Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Add the cornstarch mixture and whisk until the sauce thickens.
  • Remove from heat and let cool. Use as a marinade or sauce.

Notes:

This sauce can be stored in the refrigerator for up to a week.
