Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 4 slices Rye bread
  • 4 slices Turkey breast
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese
  • 1/2 cup Sauerkraut drained
  • 2 tbsp Thousand Island dressing
  • 2 tbsp Butter softened

Instructions: 

  • 1. Preheat a grill pan over medium heat.
  • 2. Butter one side of each slice of rye bread.
  • 3. Place two slices of bread, buttered side down, on the grill pan.
  • 4. Layer each slice with turkey, Swiss cheese, sauerkraut, and Thousand Island dressing.
  • 5. Top with the remaining slices of bread, buttered side up.
  • 6. Grill the sandwiches until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  • 7. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes:

Feel free to use your favorite type of cheese or add extra toppings like pickles.
