1. Cook the tapioca pearls according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
2. In a saucepan, combine the brown sugar and water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until the sugar dissolves and the mixture thickens slightly.
3. Add the cooked tapioca pearls to the brown sugar syrup and stir to coat. Let it simmer for a few more minutes.
4. In a glass, add a few spoonfuls of the tapioca pearls and syrup. Fill the glass with ice cubes and pour milk over the top.
5. Stir well and enjoy your brown sugar bubble tea!

Feel free to adjust the sweetness by adding more or less brown sugar syrup.
