1. Cook the fettuccine pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chicken strips and cook until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
3. In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
4. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
5. Add the cooked chicken back to the skillet and stir to combine. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
6. Toss the cooked fettuccine pasta with the chicken and sauce until well coated. Serve immediately.
Notes:
For a lighter version, you can use half-and-half instead of heavy cream.
