Instructions:

In a mixing bowl, whisk together the sugar and melted butter.
Add the eggs, cornmeal, vinegar, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix well.
Pour the mixture into the unbaked pie crust.
Bake for 45 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the filling is set.
Let it cool before serving.
Notes:
Chess pie is best served at room temperature or chilled.
