Ingredients:  

Brookies Ingredients

  • 1 cup Butter softened
  • 1 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 2 Eggs large
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 1/2 cup Cocoa Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 cup Chocolate Chips

Instructions: 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  • In another bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips.
  • Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are set but the centers are still soft. Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
